Spritzes on Deck: Game Night
Looks like summer came early this year, so we’re throwing another SPRITZES ON DECK party at bica next Saturday, March 28th from 5-9 p.m. to help you cool off.
Cool Hand Co. will bring the funky cocktails and bica will prepare the tapas; but this time you bring the deck of cards (or board of games). Scrabble, Yahtzee, Monopoly or Chess - it’s all fair game (sorry) as long as you’re having fun with the homies. Playing is not required but in the words of a wise man: it’d be a lot cooler if you did.
Cinema Crudité: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Join us this Sunday for Cinema Crudité. The marine research vessel, The Belafonte, will be dropping anchor at @bica_sd for a film screening of Wes Anderson’s nautically gonzo comedy, “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” (2004), paired with tin fish (unless the Jaguar shark springs into existence) and wine to serve. It will be an evening of high-sea adventure and Jacques Cousteau beanies
Doors open at 6:00 and film starts at 7:00
Inflow Law Group's Anniversary Party
Come join us to celebrate inflow’s birthday at bica. This event is less about us, and more about YOU, and San Diego’s creative community.
It will be a chance to connect over meaningful work, art, services, food, drinks, and our collective wellness.
We’d really appreciate if you stop by, whether you’re a current client or past client, prospective one, friend, community member etc! This event is open to the public. NO RSVP needed!

This event is built to be a small, intentional group. We’ll have steaks on the grill, classic sides, and an on-site barber for beard trims and line-ups — plus a room full of highly motivated, high-functioning fathers and father figures to talk with, learn from, and build with.

Ming Oun will be taking over the patio with Cambodian-Filipino comfort food; while Prosperitea pours customizable tea lattes and Mon Chourie serves Korean cream puffs.
Playdates & Prints
All-women’s photo club Girl’s on Film has partnered once again with Safelight Labs and Camera Exposure to breathe life into an event series for all ages called ‘Playdates and Prints’. The gathering offers moms a space to come together to share their creative side with their children.
In the spirit of the resolutions that come with a new year, co-organizers Maritza Aragon and Sayra Vasquez invite moms and their juvenile apprentices to join them on January 31st from 5 to 8 p.m. at bica for an evening of applied manifestation. All that’s asked is for women photographers to bring original prints to craft vision boards that draw future aspirations into focus.
So, ladies— press pause on dusting off that gym membership subscription, and instead submit your participating film photo scans to Safelight Labs to receive 20% off wallet-size and 4x6 prints. All crafting supplies will be provided to help shape your vision.
RSVP by January 30th at 5 p.m. to take part in this free and intentional experience.
